100 Hansen all-rubber railroad ties were produced in a pilot plant to test the product using rail industry standards. The Hansen ties, as tested, meet or exceed all standards for alternative railroad ties as promulgated by the American Railroad Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) standards.
